SPR mission

The non profit foundation Fondazione Parco Biomedico San Raffaele (SPR) was established in 2002 as a joint effort of academic research, biotech companies, services to the research community, and support to higher education.

SPR strives to establish communication between science and technology of uncompromised quality, and the development of innovation with applicative, medical and economical significance.

The goal of SPR is to develop, support and promote cutting-edge public and private basic and translational research in the field of regenerative medicine, stem cell research, biotechnology, molecular medicine and gene therapy.
